Dream Academy uses the Foundry System to track and provide progress information. Students, Families, and Staff have access to the dashboards and details to view and manage progress. Our Competency-Based curriculum is presented through a series of Learning Guides (Click for Example).
An Educator's Perspective
Educators and students alike benefit from a PBL environment. Foundry facilitates this as well as the relationship building between them. With Dream Academy's Success Advisor approach, this relationship spans the entire phase of learning, over multiple years, forming deeper and stronger mentor-like relationships.
A Student's Perspective
Students are able to explore their passions and investigate their curiosity. The Foundry system allows for the capture of this work and display in unique and engaging ways.
Student Agency and Staff
Collaboration
Students and Staff work together to design their learning experience. As students become familiar with the Foundry system, they begin to take more ownership of their learning. They are able to design their own experiences, and collaborate with their Success Advisors to create a truly unique path.
